Developed a multi-year program including conservation, planning and education projects, to preserve and promote the remains of the 17th century baroque missions established by the Jesuits as part of their utopian settlements in South America, also known as Paracuaria.
ARGENTINA - Buenos Aires Historic Center
Enabled a local advocacy campaign, including a symposium and publication, addressing the threats of demolition and significant alterations affecting iconic structures and neighborhoods of Buenos Aires.
ARGENTINA - Nuestra Señora de la Merced Basilica, Buenos Aires
Supported master planning, and conservation of French stained glass at the 18th c. church, one of the oldest in Buenos Aires.

BOLIVIA - Rio Lauca Burial Towers, Sajama
Supported conservation of several polychrome Aymara burial towers threatened by exposure. The rehabilitated chullpas became part of the Rio Lauca Ecotourism Route.
BRAZIL - Historic Center of Salvador de Bahia
Helped the Regional Government in their efforts to preserve and promote the Afro-Brazilian heritage and culture of Bahia, through the design of an interactive interpretation center, exhibits and cultural events.
